Going, Going, Gone

With Clarksville’s own American Idol Maddie Poppe in concert at the State Theatre in Minneapolis along with the rest of the Top Seven American Idol finishers, many Clarksville residents couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see and support their hometown star again.
     Kayla Hinders signed up a bus in May, and 55 Poppe fans from Clarksville and the surrounding communities filled it up. All the anticipation of going to the concert has now translated to satisfaction for those who’ve gone.
      “It was a fantastic time! It was a lot of fun seeing Maddie again along with the other top seven contestants from American Idol,” Hinders said.
     The contestants performed their songs from the last American Idol season, and sang back-up for each other.
