Faces at North Butler: Meet social studies teacher Joe Goodrich

Joe Goodrich teaches high school social studies at North Butler and coaches junior high boys basketball and junior high boys track. Helping students to succeed in class, and in life, is his goal. Teaching is his passion, and he enjoys coming in to work each day.
     “I like teaching and enjoy the subject area,” Goodrich said.
     Last semester, his classes included Iowa History and World Cultures, where students learned about Africa and southern Asia. This semester, Goodrich is teaching Economics and Current Events, where students watch and read news and study contemporary world issues.
     During both semesters, Goodrich has also been teaching Geography I and II and Sociology.
