Q: What do you teach?
A: High School classes: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry/Pre-calculus, and Math Applications.
What have students in your class been learning this year?
We cover a lot of topics, but a main theme is using and creating functions, which are mathematical rules that take an input to an output.
How long have you worked as a teacher and how did you get started? What motivated you to become a teacher?
This is my 20th year of teaching, I began in Greene in 1999.  I've had some great teachers over the years that have motivated me to become a teacher.  I enjoy helping kids and coaching.
How would you describe your teaching style?
I like to use a variety of ways to help students learn, but I usually present material, have students help each other (with a partner or group), and then have them do it individually.
