Faces at North Butler: Meet art teacher Emily Abbas

What will you be teaching and/or coaching at North Butler? 
     I will be teaching seventh to twelfth grade art.
     Why did you decide to become a teacher? 
     I decided to become a teacher because I have always had a love for working with youth and a passion for art. Teaching art is the perfect way to bring these two aspects of my life together.
     Where did you grow up?
     I grew up in Clear Lake, Iowa, and graduated from CLHS.
     Where did you attend college?
     I attended North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and the University of Iowa.
