Faces at Clarksville: Meet Eric Eckerman

“Good is the enemy of great” is one of Principal Eric Eckerman’s favorite quotes.  He believes it is never okay to be satisfied with just being good. There’s always room for improvement.
     Eckerman’s duties will soon expand as he becomes the K-12 principal at Clarksville.
     Growing up in Forest City, Iowa, Eckerman was a lifeguard and taught swim lessons. This and respect for some of his high school teachers sparked his interest in teaching.
