Regardless of what emergency you face, whether a tornado, flood, crime, medical emergency or accident, you can always count on Butler County Dispatch to pick up the phone and send help when you call. This May, Dispatcher Deb Bills of Aredale retired after 30 years of taking those calls, providing an invaluable service to the residents of Butler County.
“We’re here to help,” Bills said.
Working with a great group of people at the Sheriff’s office–and helping others–is what has made the past 30 years a great experience.
“It’s good to work with a great bunch of people. … Knowing people come to you for help is satisfying,” Bills said. “It’s a good job with good people. The good has far outweighed the bad.”
