Daniel Dralle, 63

Daniel Dralle, 63, of Allison, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Trinity Reformed Church in Allison with burial in the Allison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Sietsema-Atkinson Funeral Home in Hampton. 

Daniel E. Dralle, was born on August 7, 1961, in Charles City, IA to Junior and Lavera (Copp) Dralle. Daniel grew up on a farm in rural Bristow, IA, and attended Allison-Bristow school and later received his GED. Daniel passed away on March 8, 2025, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, IA after a very courageous battle with cancer. Daniel was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Allison, IA, and served as a Deacon on the Consistory. On May 24, 1997, Daniel married the Love of His Life Wendy (Miller) Dralle at Trinity Reformed church in Allison.

Daniel was employed for several years at AgVantage FS, Allison, IA. When Daniel was first employed at FS he began as a field applicator and then later became Plant Manager at the Allison location. Daniel truly loved his job and enjoyed visiting and working with all the farmers throughout his time at FS. Daniel was very well known for his love of talking and visiting with almost anyone and very well known for his humor, joking and much laughter. One of Daniel’s most loved hobbies was his ponies and going on wagon rides with friends and family and especially the grandchildren. In the past few years Daniel and Wendy enjoyed their stays at their trailer at Clear Lake and all the pontoon rides alone, or with family and friends. Daniel also enjoyed fishing trips with his friends. Daniel’s most precious moments were spent with Wendy doing things they loved together and spending time with family and friends was also top of his priorities.

Daniel is survived by his wife Wendy (Miller) Dralle; his sister Doreen (Dean Bartz) Dralle, his sons Chad Dralle and Jermey Dralle, Michael (Angie) Stirling; Trent (Jordan) Stirling; Brett (Marisa) Stirling all of Allison and daughter Deedra Davidson of Comanche, TX. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Junior Dralle, his mother Lavera (Copp) Dralle, sister Deb Harre, brother Doug Dralle; his father-in-law Wayne Miller and mother-in-law Joan (Henning) Miller and brother-in-law Danny Miller.
