Community gathers for Pioneer Days worship

A chilling wind and threatening clouds couldn’t stop a crowd of over 60 people from gathering at Reading Park Sunday evening to conclude Pioneer Days festivities with worship.
     There are many forces at work to make Clarksville a better place, and one that cannot be discounted is faith. A group of local men who have been praying for the community shared their faith Sunday evening, and invited the community to continue to meet every Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the bandstand in Reading Park this summer.
     “Bring some instruments, bring questions from the Bible, bring a heart that wants to pray and chat and gather. Bring friends,” Dan Bohlen said.
     The group comes from a variety of different churches in the area.
