Clarksville welcomes student teacher

For the past two weeks, there has been a new face on the Clarksville teaching staff, student teacher Benjamin Applegate, a senior at the University of Northern Iowa.
     Applegate is working with industrial technology teacher Ralph Longus.
     “I’m glad Benjamin was able to come to Clarksville, and I think it’s good for the students to experience different [teachers],” Longus said.
     Working as a student teacher, Applegate has the opportunity to gain experience with subjects he learned studying textbooks and attending lectures.
