Clarksville takes third at NB Tourney

ALLISON – It wasn’t the title game, but Clarksville finished the North Butler softball tournament with a win, 5-2, finishing third and topping the Bearcats for the second time this week.
In a pivotal move for the opening game of pool play, the Indians chose to throw their second pitcher, Cheyenne Behrends, and lost by a 7-4 score despite having the go-ahead run at the plate in the seventh inning with only one out.
“We could very possibly see Janesville in regional tournament so we don’t want them to see (top pitcher) Kori (Wedeking) as much as they can,” Clarksville coach Katie Wedeking said...
