Clarksville man indicted by grand jury

Keith Haley, 53, of Clarksville, formerly of Ackley, was indicted by a Grand Jury on February 6 to face charges of possession of a firearm by a drug user.
     Subsequently, federal judge C.J. Williams ordered that Haley remain in custody until his trial, currently set for April. The decision to keep Haley in custody stemmed from concern for the safety of the community.
     Haley is charged with being an unlawful user of marijuana and methamphetamine while possessing a Winchester Model 1912 12 gauge shotgun, a Mossberg Model 190 16 guage shotgun, a Mossberg International Model 702 Plinkster .22 caliber rifle, a Mossberg Model 151K .22 caliber rifle and a Savage Kimel Kamper Model KK2 410 caliber shotgun.
     In addition to the felony charge, Haley faces charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana in Butler County.
