Clarksville knocks around Rockford

ROCKFORD – Even Clarksville head coach Katie Wedeking was surprised by the 19-hit output her team poured on Rockford on Thursday, June 20.
It was a slow start for the undefeated and third-ranked (1A) Indians, but once they got going, there was no stopping the train that was the Clarksville softball team in a 22-0, five-inning rout against the Lady Warriors.
“I wasn’t expecting that,” coach Wedeking admitted. “That’s the best I’ve ever seen us on the bats since their first year, I think, two years ago...."
