A highlight of Clarksville’s Pioneer Days is always the Grand Parade on Saturday, and the weather was nothing short of perfect as the parade brought a Wild Wild West theme to life.
While horses and buggies brought up the rear, along the route onlookers noticed themed golf carts from Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Clarksville Child Development, among a myriad of other parade entries.
The Clarksville Police led the parade, followed by the AMVETS color guard and an Eagle Scout, the 1969 Honor Class, the Clarksville Band, Clarksville Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Miss Clarksville 2019 Emma Poppe and Miss Clarksville 2018/Butler County Fair Queen Danielle Ison led the way for royalty. They were followed Little Miss Kinsley Lehman and Little Mr. Clarksville Cooper Jacobsen and the Clarksville queen candidates, Miss Parkersburg, Miss Aplington and the Butler County Dairy Princess.
