Clarksville boy dies after accidental shooting

   A Clarksville minor was killed in an accidental shooting in rural Clarksville at around 4:44 p.m. Thursday, May 10.
   Clarksville EMS, Waverly Paramedics, Clarksville Police and the Iowa State Patrol assisted the Butler County Sheriff's Department on the scene.
   "There were three people at the scene and all of them were under the age of 18, so names cannot be released," said Sheriff Jason Johnson in a statement. "The boy who was shot was fatally wounded."
   Superintendent of Clarksville schools, Joel Foster, said, "The Clarksville Schools Family is greatly saddened by the loss of one of our students. The Central Rivers AEA Crisis Response Team, Counselors from several neighboring school districts, and members of the local ministerial alliance will be on hand today to support students and staff members as needed.Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to the family and friends of this student."
