Christmas season begins in Allison

The Christmas season officially started in Allison on Saturday as the public library was packed with festive guests for the Holiday Open House.
     The event kicked off with a morning of Bingo. Following that, guests enjoyed beautiful piano solos from the talented Marcia Larson.
     Children enjoyed activities including crafting Christmas ornaments and making s’mores in Mrs. Claus’ bakery. They also enjoyed refreshments and meeting with Santa Claus, the guest of honor.
     The library provided free photos with Santa, and the Allison Commercial Club held drawings for hams, turkeys and Allison Bucks.
