Carson appointed Star and Tribune-Journal publisher

What makes Butler County a special place? If you ask Bethany Carson, it’s the people.
     “There’s nothing quite like working in a small town. I really appreciate how supportive Butler County residents are of their local papers,” Carson said.
     Carson was recently appointed to serve as publisher of the Clarksville Star and Butler County Tribune-Journal, starting Oct. 1, and will also continue her work as editor.
     Pam DeVries, who serves as President of Mid-America Printing and Publishing, said that Bethany’s journalism skills and innovative thinking are a strong asset to the company as she assumes her new role.
