     Trick or Treating at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison will be from 4 to 5 p.m. with a Halloween Photo Booth at Elm Springs Assisted Living.
     A Trunk or Treat event sponsored by the Allison Park board will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.  The event will be on 3rd Street between the library and Main Street.  Anyone is welcome to open their trunks for an enjoyable evening of fun.  Park your vehicle with your trunk open and offer candy or various treats to the little ghosts and goblins that come out that night.  Decorate your trunk and wear a costume if you’d like.
    The Allison Park Board and Commercial Club will serve a hot dog meal to go along with the fun. The Corner will be open with free hot chocolate available.
     Madam Mystic the Librarian will be telling fortunes and giving out treats at the Allison Public Library from 5-7 p.m. 
Clarksville
     Beggars Night: Halloween activities in Clarksville will be held on Wednesday evening, Oct. 31. Trick or Treating at Clarksville Skilled Nursing and Rehab is from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Community trick-or treat is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
     The fire department and Commercial Club will serve free hot dogs starting at 5 p.m. until gone at the fire station.
     Stop in for games and prizes at the Fall Family Fun Carnival at the Open Door Youth Center from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
     A haunted house will be open in the East Gym at Clarksville High School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Proceeds go toward the DC/NY trip in 2020.
Aredale and Bristow
     Trick or Treating will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Dumont
     There will be trick or treating at the Dumont Wellness Center and Trunk or Treat in the Reformed Church parking lot from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Trick or Treating in the city of Dumont will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Greene
     Trick or treating will be from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Plainfield
     Plainfield library story hour kids will trick or treat at local merchants from 10 to 11 a.m. Trick or treating in the City of Plainfield is from 5 to 7 p.m.
Shell Rock
     Come in before the library closes at 6 p.m. to participate in the costume contest and pick up a treat on Oct. 31.
     Trick or Treating in Shell Rock is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 29. There will be a Diving for Dollars Trunk or Treat event at the Shell Rock Swimming Pool parking lot.
Halloween Candy Buyback
     Kids 12 and under are invited to bring extra candy to Allison Family Dental on Nov. 1 and Nov. 5-8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The dental office will pay $2 per pound to each child or family donating. All candy collected will be donated to the soldiers deployed in the Middle East, along with oral hygiene products.
