“Who likes prizes?” asked Clarksville school counselor Tonya Poppe at the Butter Braid fundraiser kickoff last Tuesday.
Hands went up everywhere, and dinosaurs revealed this year’s prizes. This year, the class that sells the most butter braids will enjoy a class splashpad trip in warmer weather.
A limo ride and ice cream is the prize for students who sell 10 butter braids. Students who sell 15 also get to attend March Madness activities at the school.  Those who sell 20 items will receive a $20 Walmart gift card in addition to the aforementioned prizes.
Do you love the taste of Butter Braids? If so, you’re in luck. Students at Clarksville Elementary are offering caramel roll, apple, blueberry or strawberry and cream cheese, cherry, cinnamon, raspberry and four cheese and herb butter braids for the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) fundraiser held every other year.
