Butler County Fair lineup announced - Fair board holds appreciation dinner

The countdown for the Butler County Fair began early this year with the announcement that the fair would feature American Idol winner and Clarksville native Maddie Poppe in concert with runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson on Friday, June 21. The complete 2019 Grandstand Lineup was released at the fair board appreciation dinner on Saturday, January 26.
     This year’s fair theme will be “Going, going, gone to the Butler County fair.”
     Grandstand events will kick off on Wednesday evening with the NAPA Night of Destruction. Thursday night will feature bull riding. Saturday there will be chuck wagon races and scrambles. Festivities will conclude on Sunday with Barnyard Battles and Figure 8 Races.
     “We’re really excited about the lineup that we got,” Fair board member Derek Prostine said. “We’ve had really good excitement early on for these tickets.”
