“Life shouldn’t be about gaining the world at all. Someday we will not be here anymore. All that’s left will be the impact we have made,” Madison Bloker said.
Inspired by her faith, the Clarksville native recently published a devotional, “Bound Blessings,” and will hold a book-signing at the Clarksville Library Sunday April 22 at 1 p.m.
Bloker’s passion for writing began as a thirteen-year-old at church camp at St. John Lutheran Church. She came back from the camp so uplifted that she was inspired to write to God in her journal each night. Now she has at least 30 journals from each day of her life. She reads a devotional each night, and decided to share her thoughts in a devotional for others.
“Life is so much better when you don’t try to take it all on yourself,” said Bloker.
