Board prepares for interview process with other districts

The search to share a superintendent took another step forward last Thursday.

In the second work session with independent education management professional Dean Meier, Clarksville Board of Education set a tentative date of Monday, Jan. 5, to interview Tripoli, Nashua-Plainfield and North Butler.

However, that was pending the school district’s attorney’s approval to allow the entire BOE to meet with the other three schools’ BOE and superintendent.

“We could set it up to feature the interviews at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m., and do all three in the same evening,” Meier said.
