GREENE – Surviving the gale-force winds of the Class 1A regional girls golf meet at Round Grove Golf & Country Club in Greene, Clarksville’s Madison Bloker made the cut to advance to the regional final this week.
Bloker, who played for the Indians’ 2014 state team, will be the sole representative for coach Klay Hoppenworth’s team this year after the team fell 11 strokes shy of advancing.
The senior golfer finished fourth individually, allowing her to make the next step, which was the regional final at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Winthrop scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, which was delayed a day because of weather.
