Black bear ventures through Butler, Grundy counties

GREENE - An unusual visitor has been spotted throughout counties in the Cedar Valley.
Iowa DNR Conservation Officer Jordon Hansen confirmed that a black bear was seen in Butler County, east of Greene, on April 14. Two days later, another sighting was reported by Wellsburg in Grundy County.
The next day, April 17, the bear was seen in Tama County.
