The Bill Riley Talent Show

From classical piano solos to jazz, lyrical and tap dance and vocal solos, the Bill Riley Talent Search, featuring ten contestants at the Butler County Fair on Sunday, June 24, had something to suit everyone’s tastes.
     In the Sprouts division, the Lind Quartet, featuring sisters Margaret, Naomi, Maya and Elaina Lind of Allison, took home the gold with their acapella performance of “Rather Be.”
     “I love to sing because I love to entertain people. It’s fun to entertain,” Elaina Lind said.
     Dad Chris Lind said the sisters sing all the time. The girls thought it would be a fun opportunity, and they had qualified two days previously at another show with their break-out performance.
