Bearcats have best game of season to down Rockford

GREENE – This is the team that North Butler boys’ basketball coach Dave Brown has been looking for all season.

The Bearcats got the effort he was looking for in all facets from every player he put on the court in a 65-56 win over Corn Bowl opponent Rockford on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

“I walked into the coaches’ office after the game and I looked at the assistants and asked, ‘where has this team been?’” Brown said. “This is what we’ve been hoping for this season, we were just hoping for a little bit earlier..."
