IOWA FALLS – North Butler finally was able to compete in an outdoor meet after a most uncooperative Spring season weather-wise, finishing ninth in the 12-team Gerry Lenguadoro Cadet Relays on Tuesday, April 10.
The Bearcats’ top finish at the meet was Chase Eiklenborg’s discus effort of 118 feet, 1 inch to place fourth in the event.
Besides that, coach Kirk Clark’s team had a handful of fifth places and a smattering of points scored in various relays to kick off the season.
The complete story appears in the April 19 print edition of the Butler County Tribune-Journal.
