Bearcats challenge Green Devils

GREENE – Thus far in the young season, the Class 3A No. 3 Osage volleyball team hasn’t given up a lead, let alone a set.
North Butler challenged itself to do something none of the previous three teams the Green Devils had played before: score more than 16 points in a set.
The Bearcats did just that, and at one point held a 13-12 lead before the visitors took off in the eventual 25-19, 25-11, 25-17 Osage victory.
“I think they knew it was going to be a tall task,” coach Laura Schwickerath said. “They proved they were up for the challenge. I think they had a lot of fight tonight..."
