Bearcat late rally falls short

GREENE – Trailing 28-7 after Central Springs converted on an onside kick with a six-play drive for a score to start the second half, North Butler didn’t hang its head and give up.
On the contrary, the Bearcats went to work and gave the Panthers a fight in an eventual 28-21 loss on Friday, Aug. 31.
“The boys did well the second half,” North Butler coach Travis Miller said. “They did a nice job in the second half, we won the second half, so that was a challenge in the shed: win the second half. I wish they would have won a little more in the second half, but they did well.
“Our attitudes were different in the second half, they worked hard, tried harder..."
