Iowa Republican Attorney General candidate Adam Gregg made a stop in Allison Monday, marking off his 74th of 99 counties visited on his tour across Iowa, originated by U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley. He started his campaign on June 2 and got the nomination at the State Convention. He has until the Nov. 5 general election to get the final 25 counties.

Gregg, 31, is running against Democrat Tom Miller, 70, an incumbent who currently has held office longer than anyone in the U.S. Senate (32 years). Gregg’s a native of Hawarden in Sioux County.
