Array of philosophers quoted in NB valedictorian's speech

GREENE — In her commencement speech about change, 2015 North Butler High School Valedictorian Madyson Bixby shared quotes from Leo Tolstoy, John F. Kennedy, Reinhold Niebuhr and a philosopher often quoted by her peers, Spongebob Squarepants.
  She offered a solution to the Tolstoy quote, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself,” with a common philosophy, "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
  Bixby said in her class, "Almost every day, someone quotes Spongebob Squarepants. We grew up watching him and he actually taught us a few life lessons, despite what our parents think."
