Changes to the scope of the Allison portion of the farm-to-market road have cleared one governmental committee and are to come before the full Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments this month.
"We will not know any solid costs until bids come in," Lee Gallentine with Ryken Engineering, told the city of Allison in a Jan. 22 email provided to the council.
The Council of Governments' Regional Transit Authority tentatively approved keeping funding where it was and a shorter project length as requested at its Jan. 21 meeting.
Lee Gallentine with Ryken Engineering, for the city of Allison, provided the Regional Council of Governments with an updated estimate that justified to the authority keeping all the federal aid initially allotted.
