Allison EMS Spotlight Nick Kluiter

I joined the Allison EMS crew as a driver nearly 20 years ago.
     After graduating college, I started my career as an automotive technician at Kluiter Auto Repair here in Allison. Growing up I watched my dad serve as a volunteer firefighter and realized that the need for personnel was great. I was also fortunate enough to have an employer who allowed me to assist the crew during work hours, knowing that the available members during the day was minimal.
     Many things have changed over the years since I've been part of this service, but I've always enjoyed working with the other crew members and assisting patients in their times of greatest need.
     I would encourage anyone who would have a desire to be part of the EMS to pursue it. The need is great!
