There were 111 alumni, friends and four former Clarksville teachers who “Saved the Date” to attend the 2019 annual All School Reunion June 8. The registration papers indicated there were alumni traveling from Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota and Missouri. At the Allison council meeting on Monday evening, bids for the asphalt street projects for Maple Street and a portion of North Railroad Street and sealcoating and repairs on various other streets were reviewed. In January 1967, 19-year-old Stephen “Hugh” Donavon of Clarksville answered the call from Uncle Sam. He served in Germany until his honorable discharge in Dec. 1968.
